Journalists mocked Melania Trump Friday over the legacy of her “Be Best” initiative, calling her “delusional” and more.
“Hello, Mrs. Birther,” CNN’s Ana Navarro-Cárdenas tweeted to her million followers, along with a retweet of the first lady‘s post from earlier in the day highlighting the “legacy” of her “Be Best” initiative.
“You are delusional,” she added. “You are complicit with your shameful husband. Your family’s legacy is corruption, destruction, division, and death. Oh, and our next First Lady loves Christmas.” (RELATED: Ivanka Trump Calls Out Rioters, Says ‘The Violence Must Stop Immediately’)
Hello, Mrs. Birther.
You are delusional.
You are complicit with your shameful husband.
Your family’s legacy is corruption, destruction, division, and death.
Oh, and our next First Lady loves Christmas.#BeGone https://t.co/hGd0o8Y8Xd— Ana Navarro-Cárdenas (@ananavarro) January 15, 2021
“The legacy of #BeBest is that your husband is banned from social media,” Vox journalist Aaron Rupar tweeted. (RELATED: Celebrities, Political Personalities Denounce Violent Insurrection At Capitol Hill)

#BeBest has been a painfully absurd fraud. Your husband tried to bully a nation into keeping him in power—and as a result five people died and the US was traumatized. Let’s hope the legacy here is one of oblivious hypocrisy. (Oh yeah, caged kids. He did that, too.) https://t.co/M2ZQONY32w

Your legacy ? you have been the worst First Lady in the history of America .your “be best” is a joke. You are married to a deeply cruel and evil BULLY whom you met through the most notorious pedophile in the world you should feel ashamed of yourself. We celebrate you leaving.

Earlier in the day, Melania thanked “everyone who has supported “Be Best'” as she talked about the program’s legacy in a highlight clip.
Throughout the three-minute long video, FLOTUS is shown speaking to children and health professionals from all over the world about the pillars of her “Be Best” initiative.
The program’s focus includes, teaching “youth about the importance of their well being both mentally and physically,” online safety and the “dangers of opioid and drug abuse,” Melania shared.
