Rapper Trey Songz was reportedly arrested Sunday night while at the Chiefs/Bills game.

According to TMZ, the star musician was charged with misdemeanor trespassing and resisting after an alleged altercation with police in the stands. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

TMZ reported that police responded to a situation between Songz and fans heckling him. You can watch a video of the alleged altercation below.

The TMZ report paints Songz as pretty much a victim in this situation. TMZ wrote the police “went after him” after approaching him “without warning.”

Whether or not that’s true, you know what you don’t do when the police approach you? You don’t get into an alleged altercation with them.

You just don’t do it. If you think you’re being unfairly targeted, which can happen, then you deal with it in the courts.

You don’t allegedly deal with it in the stands of Arrowhead Stadium.

The good news for Songz is that the charges are only misdemeanors, which are pretty much glorified slaps on the wrist. It’s not like he’s facing felony time.

If I had to guess, he probably won’t get in much trouble at all if he’s convicted.

We’ll see what happens, but I doubt Trey Songz gets in much trouble if he’s only facing two misdemeanors.
