The Chicago Bears are reportedly going to be major players in the offseason quarterback market.

According to Jay Glazer, the Bears are expected to be “big players” when it comes to landing one of the many quarterback options in play this offseason. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

Glazer added that the fate of the franchise “hinges on them finding the right guy.” You can listen to his full analysis below.

Of course, this really shouldn’t surprise anyone. It’s been known for a bit that that the Bears are looking past Trubisky.

Even though they made the playoffs with Trubisky starting, it was never expected that they’d keep him around.

The question now is who will the Bears target. You know the Lions aren’t trading Matthew Stafford to the Bears and Deshaun Watson has no interest in going there.

That means they could make a play for Carson Wentz, possibly Cam Newton or they could look to snag a guy in the draft. Of all the options on the table, Wentz is probably the safest pick.

It doesn’t mean it’s going to happen, but the Bears have to at least look into it.

No matter what occurs, I think it’s safe to say Trubisky’s time in Chicago is over.
