Did I make a rush to judgement on “WandaVison” being awful?

As many of you know, there was an insane amount of hype surrounding the new show from Disney+ about Wanda Maximoff and Vision prior to its premiere Jan. 15. (REVIEW: ‘Westworld’ Season 3 Ends With The Possible Deaths Of Multiple Characters)

When the first two episodes aired, I wasn’t impressed at all. I had looked forward to it all week, watched it prior to getting lunch with the crew and I thought it was insanely disappointing.

After all the hype, it couldn’t have been more of a letdown. It felt like nothing was happening at all and the sitcom format was less than stellar.

However, I vowed to give it at least a few more episodes before ultimately making a decision on whether or not to pull the plug.

Well, I’ve finished the third episode, and I’m starting to think “WandaVision” might not be as bad as I originally thought.

Is it great even after an improved third episode? No, it’s still far from great, but it at least feels like we can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

It at least feels like we know the show will start getting serious and have some nice plot development. Again, the first two episodes were hot trash. The first one was especially terrible.

I’m glad things have greatly improved by the end of episode three. At the very least, “WandaVision” has earned itself two more episodes. We’ll see if it survives!
