Former Michigan quarterback Dylan McCaffrey is headed to Northern Colorado.
The former highly-touted QB recruit announced Sunday night that he’s transferring to UNC to finish out his two remaining years of eligibility. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)
His father Ed is currently the head coach of the Bears.

Dylan McCaffrey should 100% destroy the FCS and the competition he’ll face in the Big Sky. McCaffrey was a huge recruit when he signed with Michigan.
Guys like him rarely end up in the FCS, and he’s now joining the Bears to play for his father. He should put up some gaudy stats.

There’s no doubt at all that Dylan could have landed at a major P5 program if he wanted to, but playing for his father was apparently just too much to pass up.
Now, he’ll run the offense for the Bears, and he might be the best player in the FCS from day one. Defenses in the Big Sky are likely in a lot of trouble with McCaffrey in the conference.
It’s almost not even fair.

We’ll see how he does, but I’m guessing he won’t struggle to light up opposing defenses.
