White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki appeared to mock CBS reporter Ed O’Keefe during Monday’s press briefing, challenging him to name some of the Democrats he’d heard “talking” about the president “in hallways.”

O’Keefe was one of several reporters in the briefing to pose questions about President Joe Biden’s plan to meet with Republicans to discuss coronavirus relief. (RELATED: ‘Not High’: Press Secretary Says Sarah Sanders’ Arkansas Bid Is Not On Biden’s Priority List)

“There are Democrats who see that the first meeting the president is having face to face with lawmakers is with Republicans and not Democrats — why is the White House doing that?” O’Keefe asked.

“Who?” Psaki asked. “Are there any specific Democrats you want to call out?”

“No, but it’s been talked about, there’s concerned—” O’Keefe replied, and Psaki interrupted.

“People are talking about it in hallways?” she asked. (RELATED: ‘He Was Celebrating’: Press Secretary Says ‘We Have Bigger Issues To Worry About’ Than Why Biden Ditched His Mask)

Psaki went on to assure O’Keefe that President Biden had been keeping in close contact with both House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and that people within the administration had been working with Democrats all along and would continue to do so.
