Super Bowl tickets are still incredibly expensive a week out from the game between the Chiefs and Buccaneers.

As of right now, tickets to the February 7 matchup are still at least several thousand dollars, and the cheapest ticket on SeatGeek at the moment with fees included is $6,578. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

The most expensive ticket on SeatGeek is a staggering $388,000. That’s a whole lot of money for sixty minutes of football.

While the ticket prices are coming down a shade before the game, I don’t expect them to drop too much before kickoff this Sunday.

The reality of the situation is that there just aren’t a ton of seats available thanks to the coronavirus pandemic.

Of the seats open, a chunk of them are going to healthcare workers.

On top of the limited supply driving up demand, it’s also Tom Brady vs. Patrick Mahomes for the Lombardi Trophy.

That alone is going to drive prices through the roof. It’s the new face of the NFL vs. a man chasing his seventh ring. As a fan of the NFL, what more could you ever want?
