Republican Illinois Rep. Adam Kinzinger said Friday that Republican Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene isn’t sorry “for her past comments.”

The House voted 230-199 Thursday in favor of removing Greene from the House Education and Budget committees. Kinzinger was among several Republicans who voted in favor of Greene’s removal, according to CNN.
Kinzinger’s comments were in response to Greene’s Friday tweet saying “oh this is going to be fun,” referencing the vote.

In this Democrat tyrannical government, Conservative Republicans have no say on committees anyway.

Greene has repeatedly insisted that former President Donald Trump won the 2020 election. The Georgia congresswoman has expressed support for multiple conspiracy theories, including QAnon and that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton ensured a Senate spot in New York through orchestrating the killing of John F. Kennedy Jr.
“Congressman Kinzinger has said from day one that QAnon has no place in Congress. And while he respects the voice of the people and their right to elect Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, he does not agree with the decision to give her a committee seat,” Kinzinger Communication Director Maura Gillespie, told reporters.
“Her perpetuation of conspiracy theories and advocating for violence is not compatible with the integrity of the institution nor the principles of the Republican Party,” Gillespie told reporters.
Greene’s office didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
