Police say a prankster was shot and killed in Nashville, Tennessee, on Friday night while wielding a knife, as reported by Fox News.

Metropolitan police were called to Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure Park around 9:20 p.m, according to a police statment reported by Fox News.

Nashville law enforcement said 20-year-old Timothy Wilks and his friend approached a group at the trampoline park brandishing butcher knives, WSMV reported. The stunt was part of a “prank” to be posted on YouTube, according to Fox News.

David Starnes Jr., 23, was in the group Wilks and his friend approached, and reportedly shot Wilks in what he believed was self-defense. Nashville authorities are investigating the incident. No charges have yet been filed against Starnes, who admitted to shooting Wilks, according to WSMV. (RELATED: Man Shot In Stomach By Friend After Surprise Prank Goes Wrong)

This is not the first prank to go terribly wrong this year. In Florida, a man was shot after pranking his friend while fishing in the early morning hours of Jan. 17.

Adam Antony Navarro, 31, changed his clothes and jumped out at his friend. His friend pulled his 9mm handgun and shot Navarro in the stomach, according to police. Navarro was then airlifted to Miami hospital.
