The Big 10 basketball tournament has officially been moved to Indianapolis.

There have been whispers for a decent amount of time that the move was imminent because of coronavirus restrictions in Chicago, and the B1G made it official Tuesday. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

You can read the release below on the tournament moving from Chicago to Indy.

As I’ve said the entire time, I don’t care where the tournament happens as long as it happens successfully.

For all I care, you can play the games on the damn moon. It makes no difference to me. Just get it done!

With Chicago’s COVID restrictions being a bit too tight for the B1G’s likings, we’re headed to Indy, and I couldn’t be more pumped.

All of March Madness is going down in Indiana this season, and that means the B1G teams in the field will likely just stick around.

There’s no point in going home to then just hop on a bus a few days later to get right back to Indy.

While changes aren’t always convenient, it does seem like we’re heading in the right direction. I’m pumped for the B1G tourney and March Madness. It can’t get here soon enough!
