Portland Trail Blazers center Enes Katner suffered a rough moment during a Thursday night win over the Philadelphia 76ers.
Late in the first half, the NBA big man from Turkey took an elbow to the face, and it didn’t take long at all for the blood to start pouring. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

For those of you who don’t know, basketball can be a lot more violent than people realize. Sure, it doesn’t have the regular physical contact of football or hockey, but you can still get banged up.
One of the biggest issues in the sport? Taking an elbow. For anyone who has taken an elbow, you know how bad it hurts.
Thursday night, Kanter got an up close and personal reminder of that fact.

The good news for Kanter is that he looked like an absolute badass walking off the court. He didn’t look like he was flustered at all.
Blood was pouring down his face and it was treating it like another day at the office. Even crazier, he returned to the game!

Props to Kanter for being an absolute man about the situation! You don’t see that too often in the NBA.
