Detroit Pistons forward Blake Griffin is going to be paid a ton of money to not play basketball.

According to ESPN, Griffin has been removed from the lineup until further notice as the franchise debates what to do with his future. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

How much will the NBA star paid to not play? According to Darren Rovell, he’ll earn $500,000 for every single game that he kicks back and relaxes for.

Imagine working a job where you got paid $500,000 to not show up and work. Instead of sitting at your desk crunching numbers, you cash a check for $500,000 kicking it the break room with the homies.

It’s even easier in the NBA. All you do is fly around on chartered jets, visit big cities, eat good food and spend time with your millionaire friends.

Until further notice, that’s what Griffin has to look forward to.

I honestly can’t imagine even being paid $100 to not work. I’d refuse to accept it. Of course, when you’re talking about making life-changing money in the span of a month, I guess the dynamics change.

I think it’s fair to say Griffin is living the life!
