Terry Bradshaw might have the wildest alias story in the history of sports.

As pointed out Wednesday by @QuirkyResearch on Twitter, Bradshaw’s alias while recovering from surgery in 1983 was Tom Brady. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

You probably think I’m making this up because it’s just too crazy to be true, right? Well, you’d be wrong because it’s 100% real. You can read the article from years ago below, and you can find an old clipping of the article in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette here.

I honestly can’t believe this is a real thing, but here we are. When Bradshaw used the alias, the real Tom Brady was a little kid still decades away from being famous.

Meanwhile, Bradshaw already had four Super Bowl rings and was arguably the most recognizable football player on the planet.

Nearly 40 years later, Brady would win seven Super Bowls, dominate the NFL for decades and become the winningest player to ever play in the league.

Yet, in 1983, Bradshaw had his name as an alias without ever realizing what would happen down the road.

Of all the weird facts you see on the internet for the rest of today, good luck finding one wilder than this!
