Josh Gordon’s time with the Seahawks is reportedly over.
According to Field Yates, the Seahawks have released the troubled wide receiver. Gordon is currently serving an indefinite suspension for violating the league’s substance abuse policy. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

The decision shouldn’t really surprise anyone. Just a few days ago, it was announced that Gordon was going to join Johnny Manziel in the FCF on the Zappers.
Now, Seattle has officially cleared a path for him to do so.
Former veteran NFL WR Josh Gordon will be returning to play football for the @fcfzappers of the @fcflio, per team owner @BobMenery; who also signed Johnny Manziel to the league.

I think it’s safe to say Gordon is never going to play in the NFL again. The Seahawks were viewed as his last shot at redemption, and it’s now over.
What an absolute waste of talent. In terms of natural abilities, he’s one of the best that we’ve seen in the past decade.

He was borderline unstoppable when he was at the top of his game, but he just couldn’t stay out of his own way.
After multiple suspensions for violating the league’s substance abuse policy, he’s finally out of the NFL and headed to the FCF.

I hate to say it, but the “30 for 30” on Gordon is going to be fascinating for all the wrong reasons.
