Penix suffered an ACL injury against Maryland this past season, and hasn’t played a snap of football in a game since.

Prior to the star dual-threat quarterback going down, Penix was putting together an outstanding season and was creating Heisman buzz.

As I said many times throughout the season, Indiana was a damn good team when Penix was healthy and slinging the rock.
In college football, a star quarterback can take a team a long way. Penix is a great example of that fact.

Now, he’s expected to be geared up and ready go for week one of the 2021 season. There’s not a defense in the B1G who wants to see him running around.
That much I can promise you.
It looks like the stars are lining up for Indiana to have another outstanding season.
