Meghan Markle claimed Kate Middleton made her cry during a disagreement before Markle’s wedding to Prince Harry in 2018.

After the wedding, Markle was accused of the reverse by tabloids, which said Markle made Middleton cry. However, Markle told Oprah Winfrey during Sunday’s tell-all interview that she was the one with the hurt feelings.

The argument between the two royal ladies was allegedly over flower girl dresses. At the time, it was reported that the argument brought Middleton to tears, but Markle told a different story.

“It made me cry, and it really hurt my feelings,” Markle told Winfrey. (RELATED: Meghan Markle Accuses Royals Of Racism, Says She Considered Killing Herself)

Markle didn’t expand on the details of the argument, but did reveal that Middleton apologized and sent her flowers after the tiff.

“It wasn’t a confrontation,” Markle told Winfrey. “I don’t think it’s fair to her to get into the details of that. Because she apologized, I’ve forgiven her. What was hard to get over was being blamed, that not only I didn’t do it, but it happened to me.”

Markle also revealed during the interview that she suffered from suicidal thoughts before stepping back from her role in the royal family.

“Look, I was really ashamed to say it at the time and ashamed to have to admit it to Harry especially, because I know how much loss he suffered, but I knew that if I didn’t say it, then I would do it,” Markle said alongside Prince Harry. “I just didn’t want to be alive anymore.”

Prince Harry previously called the behavior of the press “toxic,” while Markle called the coverage of herself a “character assassination.”
