Police charged two homeless men with second-degree murder on Sunday after discovering a woman’s corpse in Lower Manhattan’s abandoned Fulton Fish Market building, the New York Post reported.
Police tracked down Austin Boehm, 25, and Christian Mercado, 20, after a 911 caller said his friend had shown him the corpse of 19-year-old Rosalee Sanchez in the warehouse, the New York Post reported. Boehm confessed on Saturday after trying to admit himself into psychiatric care at Bellevue Hospital, according to the Post.

The victim’s boyfriend and a friend discovered her body wrapped in plastic on the 95 South St. second-floor staircase on Saturday morning, police told the New York Post. Paramedics pronounced Sanchez dead at the scene, police told Fox 5 NY.
Police reportedly said Sanchez’s boyfriend was not considered a suspect as of Saturday.

Police and the medical examiner’s office are investigating how the teenager died, according to Fox 5 NY.
