It sounds like Jennifer Garner might be down to do a reboot of “Alias.”

Garner became a household name in America after starring for several years as Sydney Bristow in the hit ABC spy show. (REVIEW: ‘Westworld’ Season 3 Ends With The Possible Deaths Of Multiple Characters)

Now, it sounds like she’d be open to doing it again if the opportunity presented itself.

When discussing the potential for a reboot with The Hollywood Reporter, Garner said, “Sign me up.” She also jokingly added that she’ll grab Bradley [Cooper] by the scruff of his neck” to get him involved.

I really wish Garner wouldn’t get my hopes up like this! While it’s fun to think about, I’d say the chances of “Alias” returning to TV linger somewhere around zero. It went off the air nearly 15 years ago after debuting in 2001.

As much as I’d love to see it happen, it’s not going to.

Having said that, “Alias” is without a doubt one of my all-time favorite shows. In fact, I’d say it was the first show I ever fell in love with.

I started watching it right from the jump as a little kid in 2001, and I was immediately hooked. Season one of “Alias” was the first ever show I owned on DVD, and the discs are still at my parents’ house.

I thought Sydney Bristow was such a badass that I bought a couple “Alias” books at my local school book fair when none of my fellow nine-year-olds even knew what the show was.

So, as much as I wish this was going to happen with Garner keeping an open mind, we all know it probably won’t. However, it might be the perfect time to re-watch it all!
