In case you were thinking about shedding some tears for Miller, you can save yourself the time. He won’t go hungry.
According to Jeff Goodman, his buyout is a staggering $10 million!

Every Indiana fan I know wanted this move to happen, but I wasn’t sure it would because $10 million is a gigantic buyout, especially after sports have been hit by the coronavirus pandemic.
I guess Miller’s inability to consistently win had finally pissed off too many important people and he’s gone.

Miller only won 20 games in a season once with the Hoosiers, and he never got Indiana to the tournament. Granted, they probably would have gone last year if the tournament had been played, but there’s nothing that can be done about it now.
Now, we’ll wait to see who Indiana lands. It’s one of the best jobs in all of basketball, and I have no doubt plenty of major coaches will be interested.
