Anna Faris opened up about her failed marriage to Chris Pratt and admitted she didn’t handle “competitiveness” well.

“I’ve been married twice,” Faris revealed to actress Gwyneth Paltrow during her podcast “Anna Faris Is Unqualified,” Page Six reported Wednesday.

“My two other marriages were with actors, and I don’t think we did a great job of eliminating competitiveness,” she added. “Or at least I didn’t, being a proud person, and not wanting to reveal vulnerability.” (RELATED: Chris Pratt Visits Military Members For Film Screening, Continues To Be Awesome [PHOTOS])

Faris was on the big screen with hits such as “House Bunny” in 2008 and the “Scary Movie” franchise from 2000-2013 while then-husband Chris starred in “Parks and Recreation.” (RELATED: Chris Pratt And Anna Faris Announce They’re Separating: ‘We Tried Hard For A Long Time’)

But in 2014, Pratt shot to stardom with the Marvel hit “Guardians of the Galaxy,” followed by “Jurassic World” in 2015. He then co-starred with Jennifer Lawrence in the sci-fi thriller “Passengers” in 2016.

Faris, who shares 8-year-old son Jack with Pratt, said “any hint of competitiveness and comparison” she just simply “didn’t handle that very well” and she hopes she’s “grown from that.”

In 2017, Faris and Pratt announced on social media they had tried to save the marriage but were ultimately separating.

“Anna and I are sad to announce we are legally separating,” the message at the time read. “We tried hard for a long time, and we’re really disappointed.”

The actress is now engaged to cinematographer Michael Barrett. Chris and Katherine Schwarzenegger tied the knot in 2019, welcoming a little girl in August 2020.
