Rebecca Hall’s new movie “The Night House” looks terrifying.
The plot of the movie, according to the trailer’s YouTube description, is, “A widow begins to discover her recently deceased husband’s disturbing secrets.” (REVIEW: ‘Westworld’ Season 3 Ends With The Possible Deaths Of Multiple Characters)
If the trailer is an indication of things to come, then we’re in for an absolutely terrifying time with “The Night House.”

For those of you who might not be familiar with Hall’s work, she’s a hell of an actress. I was first introduced to her in “The Town,” and it was clear from the jump that her presence on screen is outstanding.
Now, she’s starring in a psychological horror film about her dead husband, who apparently created reverse lives.
I have no idea what the explanation could possibly be for what’s going on, but it definitely looks interesting.

For those of you interested, you can check out “The Night House” starting July 16. Something tells me that I’m going to have to give this one a shot.
Even though horror isn’t my favorite genre, I’m down for it if it’s solid, and that appears to be the case here.
