Mike Tomlin will remain the head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers for at least a few more seasons.

The Steelers announced Tuesday morning that the franchise has agreed to a three-year extension with Tomlin, and he’ll now be with the team through 2024. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

I know the Steelers fell apart down the stretch last season, but let’s not pretend like Tomlin can’t coach. He’s been insanely successful in the NFL.

Seeing as how NFL coaches seemingly get fired as soon as things head south and the market for replacements isn’t great, you have to keep a solid coach once you have one.

Tomlin’s history shows that he’s a proven winner, and the Steelers have rewarded him with a lengthy extension. It’s a clear sign that despite things ending poorly in 2020, he’s still the right man for the job.
