Eric Lander is Biden’s pick for director of the Office of Science and Technology Policy, a position that Biden elevated to a Cabinet post, Politico reported. Lander is the director of the Broad Institute of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and served eight years as a co-chair of the Presidential Council of Advisors on Science and Technology during the Obama administration.
