Singer Shock G has died.

According to TMZ, “The Humpty Dumpty” singer’s father announced that his son was found dead Thursday at a hotel in Tampa. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

TMZ reported that the cause of death is unknown, but there were no obvious signs of trauma. Shock G was 57-years-old when he passed away.

Admittedly, I don’t know anything about Shock G other than the fact he sang “The Humpty Dumpty,” which still slaps decades later.

TMZ reported that he worked with Tupac and played a pivot role in the song “I Get Around” from the legendary rapper.

Even though I don’t know much about Shock G, it’s clear the dude made a hell of an impact on music during the early days of hip-hop.

He might have come before my time, but anyone who sang “The Humpty Dumpty” and worked with Tupac is obviously someone who is going to be remembered for a long time.

Rest easy, Shock G. Rest easy!
