A card of LeBron James has sold for a shocking amount of money.

According to the Action Network, PWCC sold a signed LeBron James rookie card Monday for $5.2 million. That makes it tied for the most expensive card ever sold. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

The other card to sell for that number was a card of Mickey Mantle, according to the same report.

As I’ve said many times before, I’m a huge sucker for sports memorabilia, but some numbers are just too mind-boggling for me.

A person bought this card for the price of a very nice mansion! Hell, for $5.2 million, you could get yourself a legit yacht.

Yet, someone decided a trading card was a better way to spend the money.

No matter what you think of the Lakers star (I think he says some insanely stupid stuff), you can’t deny that the man moves the needle. He just does.

Not only does he move the needle, but he moves it to the tune of $5.2 million on the memorabilia market.

Let us know in the comments how much money you’d ever spend on memorabilia.
