Police in New Orleans are searching for a Chewbacca costume-wearing man who was allegedly involved in a stabbing incident Saturday.
The man, described as a street performer, allegedly got into an argument that ended with the other person being stabbed on Toulouse Street in the French Quarter around 9 p.m., according to WWLTV. (RELATED: College Student Charged After She Stabbed Her Date Multiple Times)

Witnesses told police that the Chewbacca costume head came off during the altercation revealing a dark-skinned man in his 20s, NOLA.com reported.
You really do see a lot of weird things in New Orleans. Seeing Chewbacca alone would not be enough to phase someone, but watching Chewbacca knife someone down in the French Quarter is something you’d remember seeing.
This alleged altercation also occurred around 9 p.m. and New Orleans is a city that almost never sleeps. I’d be surprised if there weren’t at least a dozen witnesses to this moment, who just haven’t come forward yet.
