I watched “Swingers” for the first time in a long time, and it’s incredible just how well the movie has withstood the test of time.

For those of you who don’t know, the 1996 film stars Vince Vaughn and Jon Favreau, and follows the latter trying to get out of a rut with women. (REVIEW: ‘Westworld’ Season 3 Ends With The Possible Deaths Of Multiple Characters)

The movie might be 25 years old, but it still very much applies to the world we live in today.

The whole movie is so cringe at times, but that’s how you know it’s realistic. Everyone can be incredibly cringe when it comes to dating and pushing the boundaries.

Specifically, the scenes in Vegas are absolutely hysterical. Watching two guys pretend to be high rollers, which is something tons of people do in Vegas, was laugh-out-loud great.

The scene where they’re at the tables gambling was next-level cringe comedy.

It’s also crazy to me how young Vince Vaughn is in “Swingers.” Again, it’s easy to forget the movie came out a quarter of a century ago, but he damn near looks like a different person.

He looks like a teenager in “Swingers,” despite the fact that he’s actually in his 20s.

Anyways, it was a ton of fun to take a walk down memory lane and remember just how great “Swingers” is as a film. It’s without a doubt one of the best aged movies made over the past few decades. You can check it out on HBO Max if you’re interested.
