The University of Nebraska is going to host a gigantic Garth Brooks concert in August.

According to Bill Schammert, the home of the Cornhuskers is expecting to host 90,000 people at Memorial Stadium for the concert. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

Schammert speculated that the August 14 event will be the largest in-person gathering in the USA since the start of the coronavirus pandemic.

As someone who has been to Memorial Stadium, I can promise you that it’s going to be rocking when Garth Brooks rolls into town.

Hell, all of Lincoln is going to be rocking. While I hate the Cornhuskers, I do love the great people of Nebraska.

People have been stuck inside for far too long, and we’re ready to get back to living life. With more and more people getting vaccinated, it’s time to get back to normal.

Garth Brooks setting Lincoln on fire with 90,000 fans in attendance should help get the job done in spades.

I hope everyone who attends has a ton of fun. People certainly deserve to have a great time after the past 14 months.
