Brie Larson is apparently trying to join the “Star Wars” universe.

According to WeGotThisCovered.com, the woman famous for playing “Captain Marvel” is in talks with Disney to star as Luke Skywalker’s wife Mara Jade. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

It’s unclear whether or not Larson would appear in projects as Skywalker’s wife or in stories sent earlier in her timeline.

I might be in the minority here, but I’m really not a big fan of Brie Larson. In fact, I’m not sure I’ve ever seen any movie she starred in that I really liked other than “Kong: Skull Island.”

I’m not kidding. Go look up her credits, and find me a movie that she played a huge role in that you loved.

I never saw “Captain Marvel,” but I didn’t hear great things. I’ll reserve judgement on that one until I catch it for myself.

Seeing as how awesome “The Mandalorian” has been through two seasons and all the hype surrounding ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi,” Disney can’t afford to have a letdown.

I’m not saying Larson would ruin a “Star Wars” series as Luke Skywalker’s wife, but I’m also sure there are better options out there.

Again, fans have super high standards when it comes to Disney+ content.

We’ll see if she can score the role, but I definitely wouldn’t be disappointed to see them choose someone else.
