Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has reportedly blown off OTAs.

According to ESPN’s Rob Demovsky, Rodgers didn’t report to OTAs as of Monday morning as he continues to feud with the team. Team activities are voluntary outside of a June 8-10 minicamp. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

Demovsky also reported that Rodgers has already cost himself a $500,000 workout bonus for missing offseason activities.

Do we think Rodgers is dug in or do we think he’s dug in? When you blow off OTAs as the team’s starting QB and miss enough time to lose $500,000, then you’re sending a message.

Rodgers is making sure that there isn’t much wiggle room. He wants to be traded, and he’s going out of his way to make sure the whole world knows it.

Missing out on $500,000 in workout bonus money is pretty great sign he’s not playing games. Aaron Rodgers might be rich, but $500,000 is still half a million dollars.

That’s more money than the vast majority of people make in a year.

I have no idea how this situation will end, but if Rodgers is still on the team when the mandatory minicamp gets here, then we’re really going to find out how serious he is. If he blows off that, then the door is probably closed for good.
