Ohio State’s CJ Stroud and Wisconsin passer Graham Mertz reportedly lit up the QB Retreat.

The popular event for the best young quarterbacks in America recently wrapped up, and it sounds like the two B1G gunslingers had themselves a hell of a time. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

According to 247Sports’ Greg Biggins, Stroud “made a few throws during 7v7s that looked like NFL level throws and he would be a good candidate to have if you’re looking for a breakout player this fall.”

The good news for Wisconsin fans is that Mertz apparently balled out as well, and Biggins added, “The weight room has been good to Mertz and he looks to be in great shape. He made some big time throws down the field and is another QB who looks primed for a huge season.”

I’ve been saying for months that the B1G will almost certainly be a two-team race between the Badgers and Buckeyes.

As anyone who knows anything about college football knows, it all starts at the quarterback position, and both teams are locked and loaded.

That’s great news for Wisconsin and OSU fans, and really bad news for the rest of the conference.

If you want to be the best, then you have to be willing to go out and play the best. I 100% want every piece of OSU in the B1G title game. Give me Mertz vs. Stroud. Give me OSU vs. the Badgers. You know I’m always riding with my guys.
