A 25-year-old man charged in October 2020 with raping an 11-year-old Alabama girl met her on a dating app, according to an affidavit filed in the Morgan County District Court, NWF Daily News reported.

NWF Daily News reported that Air Force Senior Airman Keith Williams met his victim on the dating app, Badoo, according to the affidavit. The victim’s parents learned of the rape four months later when her father, posing as the daughter, intercepted the Williams’ friend request on Feb. 12, according to NWF Daily News. “Do I know you?” the father allegedly asked the perpetrator, according to NWF Daily News.

Williams allegedly replied, “[Name redacted] from Badoo?” He then allegedly described the victim’s attire the night of the rape and details of her home in Decatur, Alabama. He then wrote, “Ima [I’m going to] definitely marry you in the future lol [laughing out loud].”

The affidavit stated that after the Facebook exchange, the victim’s mother asked her daughter about Williams, NWF Daily News reported. The juvenile then reportedly shared details about Williams’ visit, and the Decatur Police Department opened an investigation.
