‘Gone Girl’ Star Lisa Banes Remains In Critical Condition After Alleged Hit-And-Run

Actress Lisa Banes remained in critical condition Sunday after being struck by a scooter Friday in New York City, CNN reported.

Banes was transported to Mount Sinai Morningside hospital after she was struck while attempting to cross the street, according to the outlet. The scooter allegedly ran the red light, striking Banes. The actress, who was not identified by police, was reportedly found lying in the road with severe head trauma, CNN reported.

The person driving the scooter fled the scene after running into Banes, according to the outlet. Banes’ manager David Williams confirmed to CNN that the actress remained in critical condition Sunday. “We are all just hoping she pulls through,” her manager said in a emailed statement to CNN.

Williams claimed Banes had been on her way to Juilliard at the time of the incident.

Banes has made appearances in many films including “Gone Girl,” “A Cure For Wellness,” “Young Guns” and “Cocktail.” She also has appeared on television shows including “Nashville,” “Masters of Sex,” “NCIS,” “Madame Secretary” and “Royal Pains.”
