Fox Nation host Lara Logan said Monday after returning from the southern border that the only policy being offered by President Joe Biden’s administration “has been to create the crisis.”

“The only action that has been taken has been to create the crisis,” Logan said on Fox News’ “Fox & Friends.” “It’s not that there is a failure of action,” she continued, “the action has been to open the border and to obliterate immigration law and to prevent law enforcement from enforcing it.” (RELATED: ‘Like The Wild, Wild West’: Texas Mayor Says ‘Southern Border Is Not Under Control. It’s A Mad House’)

Logan claimed that although the Biden administration is spending “millions of dollars” during the crisis it is “spending it on immigrants” and leaving national security “up to the states.”

The investigative journalist claimed that illegal immigrants are crossing the border at will because “everybody knows the game. You know, come over, hand yourself over, if you have a shot of getting in the country and otherwise, you know, hit one of the other areas and just run. Run for your life.”

Logan said it was “almost shocking” to see that “there really is an open border” and to hear from border patrol agents that they have never experienced an illegal immigration crisis like this before. She also faulted Vice President Kamala Harris, appointed by Biden to address the border crisis, for not speaking “to the people who are living on the border in any of these states she hasn’t been down and visited any of these communities”

The journalist noted that the migrants are not just coming from Mexico and other Central American nations but “from 120 countries.” “The whole world is coming to America right now,” she said, claiming that illegal immigrants are allegedly “disappearing” after they cross the border. Biden’s eight-year path to citizenship plan would allow all illegal immigrants living in the U.S. as of Jan. 1, 2021, to achieve temporary legal status in five years and to apply for citizenship after an additional three years. Meanwhile, White House press secretary Jen Psaki has blamed the Trump administration for the surge of illegal immigrants at the border.
