What we do know is that filming is expected to end in August. According to Yahoo, the amount of time needed to finish post-production on “Stranger Things” means that February or March 2022 will likely be targeted for a release if filming ends in August.

Filming for season three ended in November 2018, and the episodes were released in July 2019. With seasons revolving around holidays, Valentine’s Day seems to fit the target, according to the same report.

If we have to wait until March 2022 to get new episodes of “Stranger Things,” I’m going to lose my damn mind.

I’m not an expert, but I’m pretty sure that qualifies as cruel and unusual punishment. You can’t get us all hooked on the show for three seasons and then not hit fans with new content for years at a time!

I think I speak for fans around the globe when I say that the sooner the better. I understand that the coronavirus pandemic threw a wrench into everything, but that doesn’t make it an easier pill to swallow.

Let’s not forget that the first promo for season four came out in 2019! In 2019, we were all in a very different place.

It’s now summer 2021, and we need some episodes!

Keep checking back for the latest info as we have it. Hopefully, we have some good news in the near future.
