I think it’s fair to say that most college football fans dabble in several of these different categories. There are many of us that gamble, analyze systems, follow narratives, like recruiting, history and love scandals.
However, there’s only one category for true fans and that’s to obsess over a single team. Whether it’s Alabama, Wisconsin, Clemson or Ohio State, the true fans care about their team above all else.
While I might love gambling, I’d never gamble against Wisconsin in a million years. That should tell you all you need to know about my priorities.
