TODAY: JOE MEETS VLAD…

DEMS DON’T WANT THE TRANSLATOR RECORDS OF TRUMP’S PUTIN MEETING ANYMORE, FOR SOME ODD REASON… ABC: Still a summit secret: What happened in Helsinki between Putin and Trump?

Ahead of President Joe Biden’s meeting Wednesday with Russian President Vladimir Putin, congressional Democrats said they are no longer seeking records of former President Donald Trump’s private meetings with the Russian leader, despite previous concerns Trump tried to conceal details of their conversations.

“The Biden administration is looking forward, not back,” said House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Gregory Meeks, D-N.Y., whose panel once considered subpoenaing Trump’s interpreter to testify about his July 2018 meeting with Putin in Helsinki, Finland, where only an American interpreter was also present.

LIVE FROM GENEVA… Reporters waiting for Biden arrival joke about their questions: “What did you think of the vice president’s trip, Mr. President?” “When are you going to the border, Mr President?” *laughs* “Where’s Hunter?” “What ice cream did you…” “What kind of gift did you bring?” (VIDEO)

CNO PREACHES PREJUDICE… Top Navy Officer Refuses To Condemn Idea That White People Created HIV In Testy Exchange Over Critical Race Theory (VIDEO)

Chief of Naval Operations Michael Gilday refused to condemn the conspiracy theory that white people created AIDS during a testy exchange with Republican Indiana Rep. Jim Banks over critical race theory (CRT) in the military.

“Do you personally consider the conspiracy theory that white people started AIDS to be an extremist belief?” Banks asked Gilday. The question referenced a college newspaper column written by Ibram X. Kendi, who later went on to write a book on antiracism. […]

“I’d have to understand the context in which these statements are made,” Gilday responded. “I’m not going to sit here and defend cherry-picked quotes from somebody’s book. I’m not going to do that.”

“That is a simple question. Admiral, this is a book that you recommended every sailor in the U.S. Navy read,” Banks interjected.

Gilday then pivoted to a series of left-wing talking points about racism in America.

“This is a bigger issue than Kendi’s book. What this is really about is painting the U.S. military, in this case, the U.S. Navy, as weak, as woke, and we’ve had sailors that spent 341 days at sea last year with minimal port visits,” Gilday said.

“Our strength is in our diversity, and our sailors understand that,” he added.

Elite NYC Girls School Shows Students Videos Of White Women ‘Tarred and Feathered’

An ex-trustee of Manhattan’s Spence School slammed the institution for reportedly showing students video of white women being “tarred and feathered” in a Tuesday letter obtained by the New York Post.

“They sat there in their graduation dresses while the white mothers of the white students – many of whom volunteer, donate, call, email, and do whatever the school asks of them – were tarred and feathered in a video their teacher showed them. While their white female teachers were mocked,” ex-trustee Gabriela Baron wrote in a letter to the school, the New York Post reported. Students watched an episode of Ziwe, which “openly derides, humiliates and ridicules white women,” Baron said.

The video involved a conversation with women’s rights activist Gloria Steinem and 4 white women named Karen, the Post reported. […]

In the video, host Ziwe Fumudoh asked the audience “what percentage of white people do you hate? And there is a right answer” according to the Post. Fumudoh asked Steinem how many black friends she had, and proceeded to ask if she felt “empowered” after reading the lyrics to Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s “WAP,” the Post reported.

To clarify the term ‘Karen’, Ziwe defined it as “obnoxious, angry, and entitled, often racist, white women,” the Post reported.

Baron responded to the video as “blatantly racist” and that the reaction would be much different if the discussion were about “Asian women, Black women or Hispanic women,” the Post reported.

ROBBY SOAVE: A Composer Condemned Arson. Now No One Will Hire Him.

Until last year, Daniel Elder—a 34-year-old musician who lives in Nashville, Tennessee—had a promising career ahead of him. The theme of the prize-winning composer’s work, truth through emotion, is evident across his catalogue of choral music, including his debut commercial album, The Heart’s Reflection. […]

What happened? Elder made a short statement on Instagram that went viral during the George Floyd protests in the summer of 2020. […]

The destruction spooked Elder, who lived nearby and was thus under a city-wide curfew. He also found himself increasingly unnerved by the large number of emotional social media posts coming across his feeds that seemed to justify radicalism and groupthink. […]

Dismayed, disenchanted, and unable to sleep, Elder decided to delete his Instagram account. He penned one last farewell message, which was cross-posted to his Twitter and professional Facebook page: “Enjoy burning it all down, you well-intentioned, blind people. I’m done.”

The post was unambiguous: Elder was criticizing the activists who had set the courthouse on fire. He did not malign their cause or their ethnicity (and in fact, the perpetrator was white). He did not attack the Black Lives Matter movement or criminal justice reform. He implied that the militants had good motives (“well-intentioned”) but were oblivious (“blind”) when it came to the self-defeating nature of their tactics. […]-

Within 24 hours, the controversy had garnered the attention of GIA Publications. In the world of choral music, GIA is not merely a publisher; it is the major publisher of religious content, thanks to its association with the post–Vatican II Roman Catholic Church. GIA was Elder’s publisher, and an important source of his income. On the morning of June 1, GIA President Alec Harris and media editor Susan LaBarr contacted Elder about posting an apology.

This apology had already been written by GIA; all Elder had to do was post it. The remarks prepared on his behalf are as follows, and worth reading in full:

“Over the weekend I made a post on my social media accounts that was insensitive and wrongly-worded. I deeply apologize for the anger, offense, and harm that this post caused. While this offense was not intended, it is what was created. For this I am truly sorry.

“There is no justification that I can offer for my post. So, rather than try to offer an excuse for what was done, I offer a promise for what I will do going forward. I commit to making amends and to dialogue. I commit to continue educating myself about privilege and bias. I commit to continue seeking an understanding of the experience of others, especially the Black community. I know that working for justice requires that we each first act justly. My work begins now.” […]

“I chose to be that guy who didn’t issue the apology,” he says. “Things went from there and it wasn’t good.”

Within hours, GIA issued a denunciation of Elder.

“The views expressed in composer Daniel Elder’s incendiary social media post on Sunday evening do not reflect the values of GIA or our employees,” it read. “GIA opposes racism in all its forms and is committed to do what Michelle Obama called ‘the honest, uncomfortable work of rooting it out.'” […]

GIA also announced that the company would no longer publish Elder.

‘Free To Say Whatever Kind Of Crazy A*s Sh*t You Want’: Chris Pratt Shares Message About Greatness Of Being American

Chris Pratt shared a message about the greatness of being an American in a post that celebrates the flag and all it stands for.

“Impressive feat from the @navyparachuteteam ‘leap frogs,’” the 41-year-old actor captioned his post on Instagram Monday, along with a fun aerial clip.

“I love our flag,” he added. “The Stars and Stripes represent all of us. Every American regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation or political leaning is protected and free to be themselves in this great country.”

“This banner is yours,” Pratt continued. “You are free to say whatever kind of crazy ass shit you want in this country. And the crazy ass shit I want to say is this: ‘I pledge allegiance to the flag of the USA. And to the republic for which it stands. One nation, UNDER GOD, #Indivisible, with Liberty and justice for all.’”

‘I WOULDN’T PAY SH*T FOR IT’ … ‘Guaranteed Instant Profit’: Art Critics Gush Over Hunter Biden’s Paintings, Which Sell For At Least $75,000

Hunter Biden, who recently started a career as an artist, has received high praise for his work which could sell for more than $75,000, according to the New York Post.

“I like it,” Mark Tribe, Chairman of the MFA Fine Arts Department at New York City’s School of Visual Arts, told the New York Post. “The colors and compelling forms — it’s the kind of organic abstraction that I find easy on the eyes and provokes your curiosity,” Tribe said. […]

Alex Acevedo, the owner of Alexander Gallery in Midtown Manhattan, is not a modern art enthusiast but told the Post that he’d still buy a few of Biden’s pieces.

“And anybody who buys it would be guaranteed instant profit…He’s the president’s son. Everybody would want a piece of that,” Acevedo told the Post. Acevedo said Biden’s work would have significantly less value if it weren’t for his last name, the Post reported.

Biden’s art ranges from $75,000 to half a million, His dealer Georges Berge, told artnet in an interview.  Burgers was accused of defrauding an investor for $500,000 in 2016 and was also charged with assault with a deadly weapon in 1998 where he served 90 days in jail, the Post reported. […]

“I’m very positive that he’s going to do well in the market because the industry is very much about, what’s a simple way to put this — its like clout,” art consultant and Biden critic Martin Galindo told the Post.

Jill, an Upper West Side art collector who only provided her first name, told the Post she is unimpressed with Biden’s work saying “anyone can do that.”

“I wouldn’t pay sh*t for it because he’s a criminal,” Jill continued.

SCOTT MOREFIELD: A Group Of Parents Sent Their Kids’ Face Masks To A Lab For Analysis. Here’s What They Found

It only stands to reason that one of those health ramifications would be the fact that millions of people, particularly children, have been forced to wear and carry around pieces of cloth they’ve continually breathed through for hours on end. What lurking pathogens might be found on these disgusting contraptions being incessantly handled, stuck in pockets, and mindlessly tossed on books, tables, and desks? Well, one group of Florida parents sent a batch of masks worn by their children to a lab to find out. And yeah, you’ll probably need to make sure you aren’t eating dinner anytime soon before you digest THESE results.

Via press release:

Gainesville, FL (June 16, 2021) – A group of parents in Gainesville, FL, concerned about potential harms from masks, submitted six face masks to a lab for analysis. The resulting report found that five masks were contaminated with bacteria, parasites, and fungi, including three with dangerous pathogenic and pneumonia-causing bacteria. No viruses were detected on the masks, although the test is capable of detecting viruses.

The analysis detected the following 11 alarmingly dangerous pathogens on the masks[…]

Federal Judge Orders Biden Administration To Halt Oil And Gas Leasing Ban

A federal judge ordered the federal government to halt its ban on new oil and gas leases in a major setback for President Joe Biden’s administration.

Judge Terry Doughty, of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana, granted a preliminary injunction that had been requested by a large coalition of Republican state attorneys general in an order released Tuesday evening. The Department of Interior is prohibited from enforcing the oil and gas leasing ban until the case is concluded, according to the order.

“This is a victory not only for the rule of law, but also for the thousands of workers who produce affordable energy for Americans,” Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry said in a statement shared with the Daily Caller News Foundation. “We appreciate that federal courts have recognized President Biden is completely outside his authority in his attempt to shut down oil and gas leases on federal lands.”

On Jan. 27, President Joe Biden signed the executive order banning new oil and gas leases on federal lands. The order was part of a series of executive actions that Biden signed shortly after taking office and were aimed at tackling climate change.

But in March, Landry, joined by 12 other attorneys general, sued the president and his administration, arguing the ban was illegal.

GOP House Reps. File Lawsuit Claiming Pelosi Targeted Republicans With Security Protocols

Republicans Texas Rep. Louie Gohmert and Georgia Rep. Andrew Clyde filed a lawsuit asserting that new security protocols put in place by Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, are not being uniformly applied to Republicans and Democrats alike.

“Upon information and belief, Speaker Pelosi has instituted an unconstitutional policy of enforcing the Screening Rule against only members of the Republican minority in the House of Representatives, and exempting members of the Democratic majority from its enforcement, resulting in only Republican members being fined and having their congressional salaries reduced, all for the purpose of creating a false narrative for the political benefit of the House Democratic majority,” the complaint read.

Gohmert and Clyde contend in the lawsuit that Pelosi put the measures in place to target Republican legislators, according to the complaint.

The complaint states that Clyde was fined $5000 for entering the House chamber in February without going through security screening. It also states that Gohmert was fined for an incident in February where after previously going through screening earlier in the day, he was allowed to enter the House chamber after going to the restroom but after repeating this process the next day, he was subsequently fined.

Clyde also claimed that Pelosi allegedly violated protocol by avoiding metal detectors without any disciplinary action, according to the complaint.

TRUMP JR LIKES DESANTIS FOR 2024… CHRISTIAN DATOC: 2024 vision: Here’s who Donald Trump Jr. thinks should be the GOP nominee if his father doesn’t run (VIDEO)

If I’m going to be totally objective about it,” he said when pressed on the current slate of Republicans already angling for the nomination, “I think, you know, what Ron DeSantis has done in Florida is outstanding.”

“I mean, he didn’t fall for the narrative. I think he’s learned, perhaps through watching [Donald] Trump, you know, what the media will try to do to you if you do take those kinds of stances,” the former first son added. “I think he’s been proven, you know, virtually 100% correct on those things.”

Trump Jr. contended that DeSantis has “certainly a very bright continuing future, whether that’s with my father, whether that’s — if my father doesn’t run — on his own.” The son appeared to, like his father, suggest DeSantis would make a solid running mate for the Donald, which would mean ditching former Vice President Mike Pence.

“I think he’s a case study right now,” Trump Jr. said of the Florida chief executive. “We need more people willing to take that on like he has.”

Three-Quarters Of Church-Going Catholics Say Politicians Who Back Abortion Shouldn’t Receive Communion, Poll Shows

Roughly three-quarters of Catholics who regularly attend Mass believe public officials who oppose church teaching shouldn’t receive Communion, according to a poll released Tuesday.

Seventy-four percent of church-going U.S. Catholics believe that officials like President Joe Biden who counter the church’s teaching on abortion and other key topics shouldn’t receive Communion while 83% believe such officials create confusion and disunity, according to a CatholicVote poll. A large majority of practicing Catholics also agreed that politicians who identify as Catholic but advocate for policies in opposition to the church are “hypocritical.”

“Catholic politicians who advocate for policies considered ‘gravely immoral’ create confusion and discord among believers,” CatholicVote President Brian Burch said in a statement. “Catholics’ concern about the flouting of Catholic social teaching by public leaders is less about politics and more about the integrity of the faith, along with reverence and respect due the Holy Eucharist.

“This polling data should bolster the confidence of Catholic bishops as they prepare to discuss how to recover an understanding of the beauty and richness of the sacrament – among all Catholics,” he said. “The data is very clear: Bishops have an obligation to act.”

This week, the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) is scheduled to clarify its policy on whether politicians who contradict church teaching may be denied Communion at its Spring General Assembly. The USCCB has previously declared that Catholics who knowingly reject church teaching in their personal or professional lives should refrain from Communion, according to The Pillar.

Ahead of the assembly, the Vatican privately urged the American bishops against implementing a policy that would open the door to denying public officials and elected leaders access to Communion, a central part of the Catholic faith, according to an anonymously-sourced New York Times report. But a top Vatican leader sent a letter to the USCCB in May, urging caution on the topic of denying Communion to politicians, the National Catholic Reporter (NCR) reported.

MORE… NYT: Vatican Warns U.S. Bishops: Don’t Deny Biden Communion Over Abortion

ROME — The Vatican has warned conservative American bishops to hit the brakes on their push to deny communion to politicians supportive of abortion rights — including President Biden, a faithful churchgoer and the first Roman Catholic to occupy the Oval Office in 60 years.

But despite the remarkably public stop sign from Rome, the American bishops are pressing ahead anyway and are expected to force a debate on the communion issue at a remote meeting that starts on Wednesday.

Some leading bishops, whose priorities clearly aligned with former President Donald J. Trump, now want to reassert the centrality of opposition to abortion in the Catholic faith and lay down a hard line — especially with a liberal Catholic in the Oval Office.
