South Carolina coach Shane Beamer recently awarded a scholarship in pretty cool fashion.
In a video tweeted Tuesday night by the Gamecocks, Beamer called out walk-on receiver Trey Adkins, and told him to leave nothing in the tank for his upcoming workout. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

You know football season is right around the corner when scholarship videos start rolling out. Within a few weeks, we’ll have a bunch of these coming to us on a daily basis.

They’re the soldiers who are in the background that most fans will never be able to name. Now, Adkins has earned himself a scholarship.
