An Arkansas man has pleaded guilty to using a $50 gift card to solicit videos of a 9-year-old girl being sexually abused, the Department of Justice (DOJ) announced Wednesday.

Cody Dillon Hogan, 26, of Leachville made contact with an undercover FBI agent posing as the parent of a 9-year-old child in December of 2019. During one of the chats, Hogan sent the FBI agent a picture of his genitalia and asked for “naughty” pictures of the “child,” according to the DOJ. Hogan then sent the agent a $50 gift card as payment for a video of the “child” being sexually abused, according to the DOJ.

Over the following several weeks, Hogan tried to solicit the agent to send videos of the “child” being molested and even informed the agent of various methods of sending the video. (RELATED: Freed Sex Offender Busted For Allegedly Abusing More Kids, Authorities Say)

“After I see this video there could be all kinds of money and requests coming your way lol,” Hogan said in an online chat to the agent, according to the DOJ.

Authorities eventually raided his home and arrested him. Hogan admitted in an interview with agents he tried to solicit the videos and that he had been successful in soliciting pornographic photos of three other children between the ages of 4 and 8 years old, authorities said.

A review of his cellphone showed he had at least 20-30 videos of the children “engaged in sexually explicit conduct.”

Hogan faces up to 30 years in jail. A sentencing date has not been set.
