The Daily Caller’s Jorge Ventura visited the southern border in La Joya, Texas, Sunday night as Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents apprehended dozens of migrants.
Video footage captured by the Daily Caller shows more than 50 migrants lined up along what appears to be a fence, with some migrants sitting while others remained standing.

Ventura explained how drug cartels capitalize on the massive surge of migrants by pushing large groups through the border at once so border patrol agents are occupied while cartels smuggle drugs.
One group of about 10 migrants explained to the Daily Caller that they traveled from El Salvador, Honduras, Venezuela, and Guatemala.
One migrant who fled gang violence said he was smuggled in by coyotes.
A recent poll found a majority of voters want President Joe Biden’s Administration to enact stricter immigration policies to handle the surge of migrants.
