A Texas man was busted for allegedly trying to prostitute an 8-year-old girl for $800 per hour, according to authorities.

Investigators with the Collin County Sheriff’s Office Child Exploitation Unit arrested 27-year-old Dorian Frost on June 29 after he allegedly contacted agents.

Three undercover sheriff’s deputies were contacted by Frost about prostituting the child for $800 per hour, according to authorities. Frost allegedly tried to conceal his identity but investigators were quickly able to identify him.

Frost was arrested at his Grayson County home and taken to the Collin County Detention Facility where he was being held on a $350,000 bond. Frost is charged with promotion of prostitution of a person younger than 18, which is a first degree felony, police said. “This arrest illustrates how despicable and depraved that those involved in human trafficking are,” Collin County Sheriff Jim Skinner said in a statement. “This case is a prime example of why the Child Exploitation Unit was created. I’m very proud of the combined effort of the CEU and our law enforcement partners for bringing Frost to justice.”

There are approximately 79,000 victims of youth sex trafficking at any given time in Texas, according to the state’s attorney general’s office.
