Financial details weren’t released, but I have no doubt at all that Finebaum secured himself the bag.

Finebaum said the following about his new deal:

I’m excited to continue our show on SEC Network and be part of the talented team at ESPN. One of my favorite things about this role is connecting with our listeners, and I’m truly looking forward to bringing our show to campuses again this fall. Especially over the past year, I’ve gotten a firsthand look at what our show means to those who tune in every day, and it’s a responsibility I’m honored to have.”

Say whatever you want about Finebaum, but there’s no doubt at all that he’s one of the biggest stars in the world of college football.

The man moves the needle whenever he speaks, and he’s one of the biggest icons at the network. When you think of SEC football and ESPN, you think of Paul Finebaum.

That’s just a fact.

Now, he’s locked in for at least a few more years with ESPN, and that’s good news for fans everywhere. Even though I’m a Big 10 man, I love listening to Finebaum.

The man knows how to get people going, and that’s why he’s become such a star at ESPN.

Congrats on getting your cash, Paul! You just love to see it.
