Aaron Rodgers has reportedly declined an extension with the Packers.

According to Adam Schefter, the team offered their franchise quarterback a two-year extension that would have kept him in Green Bay for five seasons. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

The deal would have made Rodgers the highest paid player in the league, but he turned it down.

Well, once again, my opinion on the situation has changed! When this all started, I said there was no chance Rodgers played again for the Packers.

Then, when things went silent, I re-evaluated and started to think that the lack of chatter was a sign that a deal was being done behind the scenes.

Well, that thinking was not correct!

Now, Rodgers has reportedly turned down a monster deal. That seems like a pretty clear indication that he doesn’t have any intention of playing for Green Bay.

At this point, I think we can all agree that things aren’t looking good for the Packers.

Of course, this is the NFL and things can change at any moment. Keep checking back for the latest updates as we have them.
