Alabama football coach Nick Saban wasn’t laughing Wednesday during SEC Media Days.
Saban has been in the news a bit ever since Deion Sanders walked away from his media availability after being addressed by his first name. He further demanded to be treated like Nick Saban! (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

Well, people were apparently in a joking mood with Saban in response to Sanders’ antics. Mike Bianchi opened his question by stating he wouldn’t call the legendary Alabama Crimson Tide coach by his name, but he wasn’t impressed.
Chris Torello tweeted that the joke fell flat.
Bianchi begins his question to Saban: “I’mma call you Coach instead of Nick, if that’s alright.”
Fell flat.
Because Saban doesn’t give a crap. And not many there did either. #SECMD21 #SEC #RollTide pic.twitter.com/0Uqg7c1pAE

However, Sanders’ bizarre behavior didn’t stop people from addressing the seven-time national champion by his first name.
Brett McMurphy tweeted that Saban was called by his first name eight times by reporters Wednesday, and he didn’t melt down or cuss anyone out!

Sanders could learn a lesson from Saban, and that’s putting it lightly. If you’re to behave like a clown, at least be accurate with your claims, and claiming Saban isn’t called by his first name is simply false.
