Ohio State quarterback recruit Quinn Ewers might be with the Buckeyes much sooner than expected.

Ewers is the top QB recruit in the 2022 class, and he’s expected to be the next major superstar in college football. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

Well, he might not even finish playing high school football before arriving in Columbus. According to Yahoo Sports, Ewers is seriously considering jumping to college immediately, which will allow him to rake in cash on NIL deals.

Texas, where Ewers plays, currently bans high school athletes from profiting.

“I don’t really know, I don’t have a final decision made quite yet. I’m leaning toward leaving and going up to Ohio, just so I don’t have to deal with UIL stuff and can get comfortable with Ohio and Columbus and start to learn,” Ewers told Yahoo Sports during a Wednesday interview.

To make matters even more interesting, Ewers’ family expects that he’d be able to finish his final high school class necessary to graduate in time to be at OSU camp August 3.

That means this whole situation could be over and done by next week. Talk about moving fast!

If Ewers skips his final year of high school in order to jump straight to college to make NIL money, then the game is changed forever.

If the phenom passer does it and cashes some serious checks along the way, then I can promise he won’t be the last.
