Lamar Odom’s days as a celebrity boxer aren’t over just yet.
According to TMZ, the former Los Angeles Laker forward will fight Riddick Bowe October 2 in Miami, and fans can watch on Fite.TV. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)
Bowe’s record as a boxer is 43-1-1, but he has fought since 2008. That means he has a ton of rust to knock off before getting in the ring.

As for Odom, he recently demolished Aaron Carter in one of the biggest joke boxing matches that I’ve ever seen in my life.
It’s still wild to me that the fight was even allowed to happen.

Obviously, fighting Bowe is going to be a totally different kind of beast. He’s not just a former fighter, but he’s a damn good one.
We’re talking about one of the most decorated boxers ever.
I also found myself wondering why a guy like Bowe would be doing a celebrity boxing match. Then I learned that Bowe reportedly went broke after earning $50 million, and it all started to make a lot more sense.
We’ll see what happens October 2! It should be a fun one.
