As of right now, the goal is to join in 2025, but we all know it could happen much sooner.

There it is, folks. That’s the ballgame. Two weeks ago, nobody thought something this crazy was possible. Now, it’s done.

The train has left the station, the boat is out to sea and the bullet has been fired. Texas and Oklahoma are headed to the SEC!

The biggest question now is what happens next in the world of college football. Does the Big 12 collapse? Can the Big 12 find new members to stay alive?

Does the playoff expand sooner or will it be delayed? Will the SEC continue to expand? There are so many questions, and we have literally no answers at all.

All I know is that I love college football, and this kind of chaos is one of the reasons why. You never know what’s coming down the pipeline, and the Sooners and Longhorns joining the SEC is about as crazy as it gets.

Now, we sit and wait to see where the rest of the chips fall!
