“Modern Family” star Julie Bowen and her sister Annie, who’s a doctor, have been credited with rescuing a woman who had passed out while hiking in the Arches National Park in Moab, Utah.

Minnie John shared in a Facebook post recently that she had gone on a hike in the park with her family when she became “light-headed” and felt like she was “going to faint” so she sat down on a rock for a minute, Fox 5 New York reported Sunday. John explained how one minute she remembered “sitting there with” her head in her “hands secure on the rock,” and the next thing she knew, she heard “someone with a familiar voice” asking her questions.

“I wondered if I might be watching TV,” Minnie wrote. “My eyes were closed and they said I will be fine and they were cleaning my face and bandaging me up. I heard that familiar voice saying I am going to be ok, a doctor is cleaning me up. After so many more questions and sticking gooey things in my mouth, giving me electrolytes, they lifted me up as I opened my eyes and set me back on that rock, that face looked so familiar again and I asked her again if I knew her or was she famous and the doctor said yes.” (RELATED: Nick Searcy Talks About Latest Film Dealing With God In America And Retuning To Our ‘Religious Roots To Save’ The Country)

“As my eyes started to focus more, she smiled and took her hair tie off and shook her hair for me to figure out,” she added. “Her sister the doctor asked me to guess and I told her I just hit my head, I can’t remember. She said smiling ‘Modern Family’ and I said of course! I told her she was so beautiful.”

“She introduced me to her sister Annie, the doctor, and she is of course Julie Bowen,” John continued. “They explained to me that the guide who was with the them, saw me fall forward splat on my face. My glasses broke my fall flat down, hitting my head on the flat rock breaking my skin on various areas near my nose. They had everything to clean up my wounds and set me up. As I was hearing them giving directions to many people to keep going up, everything was quick mode.”

The women called the two ladies wonderful and selfless for giving of themselves as she thanked God for sending them to her in her time of need.

“God just sent them at the right time,” John told Fox 5 New York. “It was such a blessing because I believe it’s God’s doing. They just took care of me.”

The woman’s post on Facebook also included several pictures of her during the hike while sitting with the actress and her sister.

Modern Family,” a critically acclaimed sitcom that aired on ABC from 2009 to 2020, won 22 Emmys of 75 nominations, with Bowen winning twice for supporting actress in a comedy, according to Fox 5 New York.
