Country superstar Reba McEntire is pleading with her fans to wear face masks after she ended up getting COVID-19 while being vaccinated.

“I just want to say one thing,” the 66-year-old legendary singer and actress shared during a recent TikTok livestream about how she and boyfriend, actor Rex Linn, had a breakthrough case despite being vaccinated. The comments were noted by CNN in a piece published on Monday. (RELATED:Jennifer Aniston Says She’s No Longer Friends With ‘A Few People’ Who ‘Refused’ To Get Vaccinated)

“This has been a hard year and it’s getting rougher again,” she added. “You guys, please stay safe. Wear your mask. Do what you have to do. Stay home.”

“It’s not fun to get [Covid-19],” McEntire continued. “I did get it, Rex and I got it and it’s not fun. You don’t feel good. We were both vaccinated and we still got it, so stay safe, stay home, and be protected the best you can.”

The “Fancy” hitmaker later admitted she hopes to be back out on tour by January but said that things feel uncertain with the coronavirus delta variant surging, Fox News noted.

“We have plans right now to go back on tour in January, February and March,” McEntire explained. “We have plans with being with Brooks [and] Dunn at Caesars in December — the first two weeks, almost three weeks of December — but we don’t know if that’s going to go.”
