American wrestler Tamyra Mensah-Stock stole America’s heart after she talked about how great it is to live in the U.S. following her gold medal win at the Tokyo Olympics.

And for those that might wonder why this video blew up on social media, it’s not that hard to figure out. At a time when Americans see athlete after athlete on their TV sets refusing to stand for the national anthem or calling the U.S. a racist country, hearing an Olympian state how they unequivocally “freaking love living here” made us all feel like a winner again.

Tamyra not only praised her country but God as well. (RELATED: Female Track Star Named ‘World’s Sexiest Athlete’ To Compete In Tokyo Olympics)

“Of course I surprise myself, it’s by the grace of God I’m even able to move my feet,” Mensah-Stock shared during her presser after beating out second-seed Nigeria’s Blessing Oborududu 4-1 in the 68-kilogram freestyle final, NPR reported. “Like I just leave it in his hands and I pray that all the practice that, the hell that my fricking coaches put me through pays off,” she added. “And every single time it does. And I get better and better. And it’s so weird that there is no cap to the limit that I can do. And I’m excited to see what I have next.” (RELATED: We’re Going To The Olympics, Baby!’: Allyson Felix And Quanera Hayes Qualify For Tokyo And Show The World Their Babies)

The reporter noted the American flag the star athlete had draped around her shoulders as he asked the gold medal winner how it felt to be able to represent her country in the games. (Watch As Patriotic Americans Belt Out The National Anthem In The Middle Of Walmart)

“It feels amazing,” the wrestler shared. “I love representing the U.S. I freaking love living there.”

“I love it,” she added, as she made a heart with her hand. “And I’m so happy I get to represent USA!”

And the response was incredible. But you don’t have to take our word for it, the numbers speak for themselves. The original video shared on Twitter by The Wrestling Room had 6.8 million views and 15.6k likes at the time of this publication. Another video shared by the Daily Caller on Twitter has generated 79k likes and counting.

And that’s not counting all the support Mensah-Stock got on Twitter from the likes of former Speaker of the House of Representatives Newt Gingrich, Republican Texas Sen. Ted Cruz and Megyn Kelly.

Not to mention, her comments being featured in article after article, from Newsmax, Outkick, Daily Mail, The New York Times and many more.

The video resonated with Americans because, despite what we may see and hear day in and out in the media, the majority of us are proud to be Americans and to live in the greatest country God ever created.

The former co-host of “The View” Meghan McCain said similar recently when thousands of Cubans marched in the streets expressed opposition to their government and dictatorship, chanting “Freedom!” and “Down with Communism!”

“America is still the shining city on the hill for every freedom-loving person fighting for democracy and liberty in the entire world,” the former Fox News host shared in a post on Instagram.

“And it will always be,” she added. “Don’t let media gaslight you into believing different.”

McCain’s post included a tweet showing protesters in Hong Kong in 2019 against China’s communist regime and one of the anti-communism protesters in Cuba carrying the American flag.

Honestly, what can I say at this point but U-S-A, U-S-A!
